Biomethane for CNG/LNG refilling stations
Profit from our expertise
CNG (compressed natural gas) or LNG (liquefied natural gas) is a fuel made from natural gas that emits about 20 percent less CO₂ than fossil diesel or petrol.
But it can be even greener: Bio-CNG or bio-LNG from biomethane emits 90 percent less CO₂ than conventional fuels, and is produced from waste and residue materials.
Are you planning to operate a CNG/LNG filling station, or are you already operating one and are interested in biomethane?
We will support you in generating income from the marketing of Guarantees of Origin and legally set quotas, meaning you will be selling your bio-CNG/LNG at the price of natural gas.
Advantages of bio-CNG/LNG
Multiple crediting of quotas
Using biomethane gains credits through three different fuel quotas.
Easy to use
Biomethane can be used as a fuel without any modifications to the dispenser installation or the vehicle.
Additional revenue streams
The use of biofuels is being heavily backed by policy-makers in order to minimise CO₂ emissions and achieve climate targets. As a result, additional revenue can be gained through quota marketing.
Renewable fuel
As biomethane is produced from the fermentation of waste and residue materials such as liquid manure, it is not only sustainable, but is also specified as an advanced fuel.
