Acquisition of Rotie UCO Trade B.V.

A year after opening our biodiesel plant in Mumbai, India, we have now taken another important step on our expansion course. Today's acquisition bridges a gap as we pursue our growth and internationalisation strategy. It has made us one of the largest collectors of and traders in waste oils and fats in Europe.

Amsterdam-based Rotie has been collecting and trading waste-based raw materials for over 65 years. We are very proud to be able to integrate the trading arm of this traditional company into our family business.

Its location and infrastructure at the port of Amsterdam, especially, opens us entirely new opportunities for us. It represents the proverbial gateway to the world, extending access to all strategic options for our logistics. And it will provide us with even greater stability and flexibility in our raw material supplies for the future.

Following the acquisition, the company will be fully integrated into Münzer Bioindustrie GmbH, and will in future operate under the name Münzer Trading B.V.
